Head over to ESPN Zone today for a Q&A with Craig Stammen. Doors open at 11 a.m.; the event begins at noon.
Also, wanted to pass along this Q&A I did with Mets blogger, Kerel of Ontheblack.com.
I’m sorry things are kind of quiet here these days. Stephanie is adjusting to her new life in Miami and everybody is trying to handle this season’s disappointments in their own way — without using this space to whine. We did too much of that in 2008.

I’ve always thought you guys had one of the most positive blogs out there, and it’s sad that this organization is now losing it’s most die-hard fans.
I’d suggest a house cleaning, but how many people are left to fire???
Rhetorical question I guess……..

Rob, I wouldn’t quite say that the organization is losing us (well, maybe I shouldn’t speak for everyone!), but we are struggling right now as fans. That being said, I did just put a Curly W magnet on my car, and I also just bought a ticket to an extra game, so there is hope! I hope to post something positive again soon (someday).

I’m with Carolyn - and I think Danielle and Steph still love this team with their whole hearts too.
It’s just - how many ways can you talk about a loss? What can you really say at this point?
There are a ton of bright spots and I know we’re still all spending a lot of time at the ballpark. Hopefully, sooner rather than later, there will be some inspiration.

Kristen - thanks again for taking time to do the Mets/Nats series preview with me. Also, nice win tonight. Looking forward to the rubber match tomorrow.

Time to come on back!!!!!

It’s time to come back ladies (Miss Chatter has)!! Four in a row and a possible sweep. This is baseball, all heartbreak with a few moments of joy that make the heartbreak possbile. Actually, there are more wins for this team because it was always better than the first half showed. So write!!

Fair weather fans..that is wah is dominating the Natosphere..I love baseball, we stink but it is still baseball if you don’t love it shut down your website.

To LOL - I resent your comment. I’ve been to almost every home game this season — Danielle and Carolyn have too. Hardly “Fair-Weather” Fans, if you will.

LOL - I have to add to Kristen’s polite resentment by saying that I am insulted by your comment! Clearly you do not know any of us or read much of the blog, and that’s fine, but don’t judge our devotion to the Nationals with that lack of knowledge. Between all of the women who write here we probably attend every game of the season enthusiastically. Each one of us holds season tickets. We have traveled to cities such as Pittsburgh, NY, Atlanta, Houston, Seattle, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Philadelphia (I’m probably missing some) to see the Nationals. We’ve been to Viera for Spring Training several times (3 years in a row for me). We go to clinics and community events sponsored by the team. Heck, we write on this blog and shout out our love of the team! Yes, there is a lot of negativity on the “Natosphere,” but I also hate it and don’t support it. And all or most of our postings are not negative. If you feel that we don’t love baseball and are truly fair weather fans and should shut down the site, well that’s your opinion, but clearly, you can’t read.

Those who have been paying attention will know that LOL is mistaken. I wouldn’t worry about his or her opinion.

Where did Stephanie go? I was a huge Steph fan.

You can reach her at stephanie@wevegotheart.com and ask. She moved to Miami. The rest - I don’t know, sadly.
