You gotta have heart, all you really need is heart. When the odds are sayin' you'll never win, that's when the grin should start.

Not the worst signing. The kid throws gas; if he gets his control down a little better there is some potential there. We don’t really have the luxury of being picky given the current state of our rotation…..
Kristen- if you look closely at the box from that game, Cabrera’s line actually isn’t that bad. It was the O’s relievers who really did the pooch.

Rob - I’m open minded about it. Just reminiscing about one of his more memorable starts.
Maybe Randy can straighten him out.

Provided the elbow holds up, this is an inspired move.

And if there’s hope for Cabrera, which there is, there’s surely hope for Bergmann. I’m starting to feel pretty darn good about this rotation.

I hope Cabrera and Bergmann are both in the rotation if for nothing else to watch them try and make contact at the plate. Cabrera had 13 strikesouts in 13 at-bats last season. Bergmann was 1-for-2008. They may be the first pitchers ordered to sac bunt when nobody is on base!
