When Nick is heathly he’s a damned fine player but we haven’t had much luck with him. I say let Nick go and roll that 5.5 million into what we’d have to beg Teixeira with. Hell, I’d trade Nick to any team willing to give me a coupon book for free backrubs.

I love Johnson too, but can’t help but think he’d be a great fit for Oakland given his knowledge of the strike zone and patience at the plate.
